STUCO’s Movie Night

While following all of the necessary protocols, STUCO (Student Council) held an outdoor movie night on Wednesday, October 14th. The movie shown was Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe, as decided by a student poll. Gefen Beldie, a senior, expressed that she “had a really great time [because] it was very easygoing.” Along with the movie, STUCO sold snacks and drinks to the students and plan to use their profits to be able to hold similar events in the future.

Besides for the movie, the movie night facilitated many great conversations and acted as a way for students to have more social time together. “The field was large enough that you could jump from conversation to conversation both safely and without interrupting the movie-watchers,” added Gefen. After two fun, but tiring, days of in-person school, a movie night was just what the students needed to relax and get back into the swing of things.
