Humanity.
Yearning for but one thing:
War.
Clang, clash
Blood.
Spray, splash
Death.
End, ash
A cruel world.
A horrid place.
Havoc unfurled.
No room for grace.
Gone is kindness.
Gone is love.
Gone is selflessness.
Gone is the dove.
As the years grow long,
Authority crumbles.
As time stretches out,
All sides are humbled.
Anarchy rises,
Each man on his own.
The devil embodied,
In every man’s bone.
And then a horn sounded.
The screaming went silent.
Weary minds focused.
The stubborn went pliant.
All ears perked up,
And all eyes went wide.
All fists unclenched,
And all tears went dry.
A heavenly light filled the world, flooding past.
A magnificent figure atop a glorious ass.
Gone is spitefulness.
Gone is distaste.
Gone is selfishness.
Gone is the mace.
Now humanity yearns for something else:
Peace, health, and life and of course God Himself.
