I raced across a silent land,
Obsidian claws slicing the grass.
I was a beast at Night\u2019s command.
A looming shadow, a lean black mass,
A harbinger of Death\u2019s grim pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I reached a line of towering forms,
Calloused paws skimming the leaves.
I was a ghostly chill of a static storm.
A seamless creature, through trees I weaved,
A brush of Death to be believed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I caught the scent of a terrified deer,
Long dark snout sniffing the ground.
I was an animal that preys on Fear.
A relentless hunter, a tracker hound,
An indomitable stench of Death unbound. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I heard the snap of a nearby twig,
Dagger-like ears standing straight.
I was a listener of all, small and big.
A rumbling thunder, a calling of Fate,
A sharp gasp of Death that does not wait. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I spotted the pelt of my cowering target,
Forest green eyes latching onto the hide.
I was a demon of sight, only scarlet.
A signal of slaughter, I prepared to collide,
A beacon of Death who does not subside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I tackled the fragility of my helpless meal,
Glaring white fangs sinking into the nape.
I was a leech of endless desire and zeal.
A soul-sucking monster, an unflinching shape,
A platter of Death with no escape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
